  1. February 24, 2025 | Navigating Grief and Loss with Molly Ranns from the SBM. Understanding the many complicated facets of grief and loss, including how symptoms may be manifested, and what we can do to engage in self-care efforts and support ourselves and others. 
  2. March 21, 2025 | It's Tax Time. In this workshop you will learn about the tax filing process and what you need to know when you are preparing your income taxes.
  3. April 28, 2025 | From Land Bank to Home with Aschleey Pratt. In 2018, Aschleey purchased her first Detroit Land Bank Authority home. Since then, Aschleey has been acquiring and renovated multiple properties from the Detroit Land Bank, becoming a master of the BRRR (Buy, Rehab, Rent, Refinance, Repeat) method, and currently manages two rental properties. Come and hear about Aschleey’s journey navigating the ins and outs of homebuying and rehabbing her Detroit Land Bank properties.
  4. May 28, 2025 | Online Safety: Protecting Yourself from Scams with SADO’s Director and Project Reentry Manager, Marilena David. Whether on social media or email, it’s becoming more and more difficult to protect yourself from fraud, scams, and identity theft. In this workshop you will learn about best practices and pitfalls when it comes to staying safe and secure wherever you share your personal information at our May workshop.
