Ellen K. Michaels won a not guilty verdict in a case charging unlawful carrying of a concealed weapon.
James Anderson won not guilty verdicts from a jury in the 3rd Judicial (Wayne County) Circuit Court on March 5, 2020, in a case with two counts of assault with intent to do great bodily harm, two counts of felonious assault, and four counts of felony firearm.
Matthew Evans won not guilty verdicts March 11, 2020, in the 3rd Judicial (Wayne County) Circuit Court, in a case with multiple counts of CSC 3 and CSC 4.
Joel Kershaw had success in a first-degree murder case in the 16th Judicial (Macomb County) Circuit Court with his motion for relief from judgment (“6.500 motion”); a new trial was ordered.
Ian Kierpaul successfully obtained a one-quarter time reduction in his client’s jail sentence in the 6th Judicial (Oakland County) Circuit Court; the success was obtained without his having to appear in person or through telecommunications.
