SADO's Project Reentry facilitates workshops aimed at assisting formerly incarcerated individuals with essential life skills necessary for a successful transition home.
Who can attend? All impacted individuals are welcome. Friends and family, community leaders and activists, students, and teachers are also welcome.

What's happening in 2026?
- April 27 | Work Smarter: AI for Life after Release. We hear about AI all the time, but what does it actually mean for your day-to-day life and work? In this hands-on session, we'll show you how AI works in the real world, how to use it to your advantage, and how to stay safe while doing it. No experience needed—just your curiosity. Whether you've never tried an AI tool or you're already a fan, there's something here for everyone. We'll walk through interactive examples, answer your questions, and have a lot of fun along the way. RSVP here | Flyer here
- March 30 | Digital Literacy with the Friends U Need. Technology is constantly evolving, and digital literacy is critical upon returning to the community. This workshop will both highlight the importance of digital literacy, especially for returning citizens, and provide practical examples for navigating technology including computers, phones, and other devices.
- February 23 | Financial Literacy, Strategy, and Positioning with Simone Eaton. Better known as “The City’s Banker,” Ms. Eaton strives to bridge the gap between culture and capital. At this workshop, participants will leave with a strong financial foundation, clear on what money is, how it moves, setting goals, and using financial tools with purpose. The outcome is clarity, confidence, and the ability to strategize with money, now and long term.
